We were very satisfied with Decocoat for years until they got a new manager who scrapped all quality control and indicated that small clients were not interesting for them and that they wanted to sell in bulk. Unfortunately, this bulk didn't materialize because several large clients had left due to the declining quality. This resulted in an urgent letter from the manager explaining that things weren't going well and that prices had to be drastically increased. Invoices were transferred to a factoring company to see if they could still make it. However, the quality deteriorated dramatically (see photos). 60-70% of the work delivered was defective and had to be returned, while the manager continued to send invoices and we, the customer, had to continue paying for the defective work. Of course, mistakes can always happen, but at Decocoat, things are currently going wrong systematically. In some cases, we've returned products three times, and upon return, even after three recoatings, they were still defective. The comment: "We decide for ourselves whether something is defective, not the customer," really struck us as unsatisfactory. I also spoke to colleagues, and if they sent me three frames that all needed to be sprayed the same color, they were all different. Look at the photos and judge for yourself.
